11.3.1. Check of system of ignition

CONTACTLESS SYSTEM

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the engine is not started, and the starter rotates the crankshaft, then check existence of a spark.
2. For this purpose disconnect a wire from one of candles, take away the isolating tip and record a wire at distance about 6 mm from the bared site of weight, or connect to the calibrated rated sportsman. Include a starter and you watch a candle wire. There has to be an intensive spark of blue color.
3. If the spark is available, then turn out candles and check.
4. If the spark is absent, or sparking unstable, then uncover the distributor and check a condition of a cover and the runner.
5. At detection of moisture wipe dry a cover and the runner, establish a cover into place and repeat check.
6. If there are still no sparks, then disconnect a high-voltage wire of the coil of ignition from a distributor cover and fix a wire at distance about 6 mm from the bared site of weight.
7. If the spark appeared, then malfunction of a cover of the distributor or runner can be the cause.
8. In the absence of a spark check all conducting of primary chain of the coil of ignition.
9. Check whether tension on the coil from the ignition key arrives.
10. Check the ignition coil (see subsection 11.4) and the induction sensor.
11. If the spark is still absent, then replace a high-voltage wire of the coil obviously serviceable.
12. If replacement does not yield result, then the electronic block is faulty.

DIS-SYSTEM

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the engine is not started, and the starter rotates the crankshaft, then disconnect a wire from a candle of the left cylinder and connect to a test rated sportsman. The rated sportsman has to be calculated on check of DIS-of system.

Prevention

For check use wires from the left head of cylinders as for access to coils of the right cylinders dismantling is complicated and will need.

2. If the spark is observed, then turn out candles and check.
3. If the spark is absent, or sparking unstable, then check tension from the battery on each coil, check coils and sensors (see subsection 11.4).
4. Check a signal from the electronic block on coils.
5. For this purpose open the socket and attach to a conclusion of the socket on which the power supply from the battery, a control light-emitting diode moves. At rotation of the crankshaft the light-emitting diode has to light up at the time of arrival of a signal from the electronic block.
6. Electronic and processor blocks are checked in car service.
