GENERAL INFORMATION

Switches the lock drive, the control unit and wires are a part of the electric drive.

The control unit is mounted in salon, to the right of the block of safety locks. It is independently possible to execute simple checks of the drive and connections. More detailed check and elimination of serious malfunctions is carried out in car service.

Control of locks is exercised of the reversive solenoids mounted in door niches.

Switches of locks have 2 provisions Lock and Unlock. From the switch on the control unit the signal of unlocking or locking of a door arrives. The control unit changes polarity of a signal according to position of the switch, as a result conclusions of the coil of the solenoid connect or weight or to food of +12 Century.

On a part of cars anti-theft devices are built in door locks.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Safety locks and breakers are at first checked.
2. At operation of the drive of the lock at any position of the switch the click has to be listened.

3. The chain has to be in the LOCK switch family way between conclusions 2 and 4.
4. Between conclusions should not be in the chain OFF switch family way.
5. The chain has to be in the switch family way UNLOCK between conclusions 2 and 3.

6. The chain has to be in the LOCK switch family way between conclusions 3 and 4.
7. Between conclusions should not be in the chain OFF switch family way.
8. The chain has to be in the switch family way UNLOCK between conclusions 2 and 4.

9. The chain has to be in the LOCK switch family way between conclusions 1 and 6, and also between conclusions 3 and 4.
10. The chain has to be in the switch family way UNLOCK between conclusions 1 and 3, and also between conclusions 4 and 6.
11. Between conclusions 2 and 5 there has to be a chain (an illumination chain).
12. If switches are serviceable, then check existence of break in the wires connecting the control unit, solenoids and switches. Otherwise replace the switch.
13. Check connection with the mass of the control unit and switches.
14. If only one solenoid does not work, then check presence on it of tension, having removed facing of a door. Tension has to be in the family way Lock on one of wires. After convertion of the switch in situation Unlock tension has to be on an opposite wire.
15. If tension is, then replace the solenoid.

16. Otherwise check the relay or a wire between the control unit and the solenoid. As a rule this wire breaks when closing and opening a door.
