11:41. Cruise control

GENERAL INFORMATION

The system a cruise control provides maintenance of speed of the car by means of the electric drive which is placed in a motor compartment. The electric drive is connected to a cable of a butterfly valve.

The control unit, the braking signal switch, switches and the sensor of speed of the movement are a part of system. Service of this system is carried out in car service, however independently it is possible to define the general nature of malfunction.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a safety lock.

2. Check operation of the switch of a signal of braking (tension from the switch deactivates system a cruise control).

3. If lamps of a signal of braking do not burn, or are not switched off, then remove the cause and check system a cruise control.

4. Check freedom of movement of a cable of the electric drive a cruise - control, if necessary replace.

5. The system speed sensor a cruise control is mounted in a speedometer. Check a condition of sockets on a guard of devices.

6. Check work of system on a trial trip. In case of abnormal work of system address to car service.
