GENERAL INFORMATION

Surface of a press disk

Prevention

Delete dust from wear of slips with a special cleaner. Use of gasoline or solvent is not allowed.


At the description of procedures it is meant that works are performed without removal of the engine, and transmission is removed.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a car front.
2. Remove the main cylinder.
3. You will hang out the engine and remove transmission. If the engine is propped up from below, then keep in mind that the oil receiver is located near the pallet and it can be easily damaged at deformation of the pallet.
4. The fork and the release bearing can be not removed yet.
5. To record coupling, use a mandrel.
6. Record coupling.
7. Find adjusting tags (a letter of X or O), at their absence designate the provision of coupling on a flywheel.
8. Gradually and evenly release 6 bolts, turn off bolts and remove coupling.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. As a rule replacement is demanded by only a frictional disk. However, if oiling of a disk is revealed, then it is necessary to find the reason and to eliminate.
2. Check existence for surfaces of a flywheel of wear tracks, vykrashivaniye of metal, deep development. It is recommended to remove a flywheel and to proshlifovat irrespective of a condition of a surface.
3. Check a condition of the directing bearing.
4. Check a condition of a surface of a frictional disk, springs, weakening of rivets.
5. Together with a frictional disk also the release bearing changes.
6. Check a condition of a surface of a press disk, a diaphragm spring and fingers of a spring (see rice. Surface of a press disk). Small defects of a disk can be polished a skin, at major defects replace coupling.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clear a flywheel and coupling. Establish coupling, having combined tags and wrap bolts by hand.
2. Center a disk by means of a mandrel which has to enter the directing bearing and gradually and evenly tighten coupling bolts in the order specified a photo.
3. Grease a flute of the release bearing, the rubbing surfaces of a fork and a vent of a main shaft of the check point with refractory lubricant. Install the bearing. Establish transmission.
