On the cars "Toyotas 4 Runner/Hilux/Surf" the single-section back driveshaft with 2 cardan hinges is installed. A forward shaft (on all-wheel drive cars) and a back shaft are equipped with the sliding shlitsevy connection. This connection is executed with a fork of the hinge at the same time and is a part of the driveshaft.

From the transfer case (on all-wheel drive cars) shaft fasten through the flange condensed by 2 epiploons (see subsection 6.3.2).

At operation care of driveshafts comes down to check of a state, verification of balancing counterbalances and their fixing, and also to cleaning.

Lubricant of hinges as a rule is not required.
