Removal and installation

Prevention

The procedure belongs to back and all-wheel drive cars.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a car front.

2. Remove a support and take aside.

3. Disconnect wires from the speed sensor (if there is an ABS system).

4. Raise a jack the lower lever of a suspension bracket. Not to remove a jack.

5. Turn off a nut, remove a washer and an axis.

6. Check a condition of plugs.

7. If plugs are damaged (cracks, wear), then replace (replacement of plugs is carried out in car service).

8. Assembly is carried out upside-down.

9. Tighten a nut with the set moment.

Prevention

To tighten a nut only after lowering of the car, on a plain surface. It is also possible to simulate load of the lever, having raised the lower lever a jack.

10. On rear wheel drive cars check and adjust the angles of installation of wheels.
