1.24. Indexes and the warning signals
At inclusion of the following light indexes or a sound signal arrive as follows. LIGHT INDEX OF MALFUNCTION OF BRAKES Performs the following functions: – reminds of need to release the emergency brake; – points to the low level of liquid in a nutritious tank of brakes, or low depression (on cars with the diesel).
CONTROL LAMP OF THE CATEGORY OF THE BATTERY Inclusion of this index demonstrates that the battery is discharged. If the lamp lights up during the movement, then the system of a charge of the battery is faulty. The system of ignition of the engine will continue to work to the full category of the battery. Switch off the conditioner, the receiver, the fan, etc., ask for the help on the nearest car repair shop. Prevention KONTROLNY LAMP OF EMERGENCY PRESSURE OF OIL Inclusion of this index testifies to oil pressure in the engine below norm. If the lamp lit up during the movement, then having reduced speed, stop on a roadside, immediately stop the engine. Call service of car service of the dealer or on the nearest car repair shop, ask for the help. The control lamp of emergency pressure of oil can light up and die away during the operation of the engine idling, or light up at sharp braking by the engine. CONTROL LAMP OF ABS Fire of this lamp indicates malfunction in system of anti-blocking of brakes. The lamp lights up at turn of the ignition key in situation On, but later 3 sec. the lamp has to go out. If this lamp lights up, and the index of malfunction of brakes does not burn, then the brake system is serviceable, but works without unblocking of wheels when braking. LIGHT INDEX OF CRITICAL CONDITION OF THE ADDITIONAL SECURITY SYSTEM This index lights up at turn of the ignition key in the provision of ASS or On. Later 6 sec. illumination of the index dies away. It means serviceability of an additional security system (system of inflatable pillows).
